They will turn their swords into ploughshares and their spears into pruning hooks; the nations will no longer raise swords against the na- tions or learn war. In 1968, in Catonsville, Maryland, nine Catholic activists, including two priests and brothers, Philip and Dan Berrigan, stole 378 draft files and burned them with homemade napalm. In 1970, the brothers were sentenced to prison terms of up to three years. Father Dan fled.

Il limone lunare consists of two shows that circulate around the work and the writings of the Sicilian activist and poet Danilo Dolci. The first show starts from Radio Libera, an ephemeral pirate radio that took place in 1968 in the context of the Belice earthquake, and explores different sides of the work of Danilo Dolci in Sicily. Through a montage of readings and sounds, it unveils a series of events and ideas situated between nonviolent struggles and cultural, political and educational actions which echo with contemporary writings and practices.
